Mechanised Harvesting Learnership 2026

A 10-month learnership at NQF Level 3 aimed at unemployed youth aged 18-35. Gain practical skills in mechanised timber harvesting operations.

Learner Support

What We Offer

SAFCOL provides comprehensive support to all learnership and programme participants to ensure they can focus on learning and skills development.

Training Materials

All learning materials, textbooks, and practical resources provided at no cost.

Monthly Stipend

A monthly stipend is provided to support learners throughout the programme duration.

PPE Clothing

Personal Protective Equipment and work clothing issued to all participants.

Accommodation

Accommodation provided in some cases, along with daily lunch during training days.

Training Facility

Platorand Training Centre

All learnership training takes place at the SAFCOL Platorand Training Centre in Sabie, Mpumalanga. The centre is equipped with modern training facilities including classrooms, practical workshops, and simulation equipment.
